Callaghans opened its doors in 1974 under the name of D Callaghan & Associates, the founding partner. David Callaghan retired in 1998 after a long association with the Canberra business community. Many of the clients David worked for in those early years remain with the firm today.

In 1998 the firm's name was changed to Callaghans and to this day we continue the organisations founding principle of working with the individuals, families and businesses of the Canberra region to help them grow their wealth and succeed.

Callaghans now operates offices in the Central Business District of both Belconnen and Queanbeyan. We employ over 20 talented and committed professionals and use state of the art technology to enhance our services to clients all whilst continuing to be a major presence in the Canberra business community.
